ホームページを見てくださりありがとうございます。私は公務員として勤務する傍ら、週末に主にポートレートを撮影しているアマチュアフォトグラファーです。ポートレート撮影歴は6年ほどです。言語化できない心の動きや人の営みを形に残していきたいです。興味を持って頂けましたら一緒に作品作りができたらと思います。

 

  My name is Shiho Matano, working as a public officer and taking mainly portraits on weekends in Japan. I got my own camera in 2011 and started taking portrait photography in 2012.

  I've spent totally nine years living in China and Hong Kong. Living abroad gave me an experience to reflect on my individuality and identity, which later I believe made me motivated to create portrait photography. It gives me great satisfaction and I feel I'm alive with a camera in my hand. My photographic goal is to capture the moment in which people can feel the spirit and the emotion of the model, as well as myself. I read a lot and visit art museum often to remain creative and inspired. In my spare time, I go on a small trip, play instruments (guiter and bass guiter) and compose music.
